Properties: White crystalline powder, specific gravity 2.484 (20), m.p 616 (decomposition). Well soluble inwater, insoluble in organic solvents. Strong moisture absorption property. Turn into viscose state for absorbing moisture in the air. Can be synthesized with alkaline earth metal to capacitive double salt. It is a good water softener.
Use: Mainly used for water treatment agent, adhesives, flotation agent, dispersing agent, etc. Widely used in circulating water treatment, mining, textile, etc. Mainly used as boiler water softener, dyeing water softener and in paper making.
